Tom Brady shows off his new prized possession, distracting him from the problems looming ahead with the Raiders

Tom Brady drew attention on social media on Sunday, January 4, by showing off his $482,985 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Blue Ceramic watch, even as questions mount around the struggling Las Vegas Raiders‘ future.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion’s commentary paired with his fashion statement highlights how he balances professional insight with personal flair, keeping fans engaged on both the field and sidelines.

“IYKYK,” Brady captioned his Instagram story, referencing the exclusive timepiece with its blue ceramic case, dial, and strap, signaling that even retired NFL stars enjoy the finer things while staying connected to the league.

Though retired, Brady remains in the spotlight as a FOX Sports analyst. Over the weekend, he covered Detroit vs. Chicago, praising Bears rookie Colston Loveland, calling him “a little mini Gronk,” while the team ultimately fell 19-16.

Brady‘s wristwatch post comes as the Raiders approach a critical offseason. Las Vegas ended the season 3-14 despite a thrilling finale, leaving questions about quarterback play, coaching stability, and roster construction unresolved.

Fans of the team care far more about improving the quarterback, offensive line, wide receiver room, and head coach uncertainty as opposed to fashion statements, but few can blame the iconic NFL star for flexing his $300,000,000 net worth.

Meanwhile on the field, Daniel Carlson ended Las Vegas‘ 10-game losing streak with a career-long 60-yard field goal, giving the Raiders a 14-12 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The kick also marked a possible audition for a new contract, either with the Raiders or elsewhere, as Carlson‘s kick followed Harrison Butker‘s 41-yard field goal, which had briefly given Kansas City the lead with just over a minute remaining.

However, Las Vegas‘ veteran kicker responded under pressure, thrilling fans at Allegiant Stadium as the win marked the Raiders‘ first victory over the Chiefs at the venue, ending an 11-game losing streak against AFC West opponents and snapping Kansas City‘s dominance in six consecutive Las Vegas meetings.

The star running back, Ashton Jeanty, led Las Vegas offensively with 87 rushing yards, finishing the season with 975 yards on the ground and 1,321 total yards from scrimmage.

“I thought he had a great year,” Pete Carroll said. “He maximized the opportunities he had. It shows not just toughness, but endurance, too.”

Much of the game’s broader significance had been settled earlier when the New York Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-17, locking Las Vegas into the top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, meaning they could go for the win knowing they had new quarterback options to consider no matter what.

But Carroll‘s own future remains uncertain. Hired last year to bring championship pedigree, his job security is debated after a disappointing debut season, and there was no day-after media session to clarify his intentions fully.

Injuries compounded issues, with Geno Smith sidelined by an ankle injury, Kenny Pickett starting before Aidan O’Connell replaced him, and key players like Raheem Mostert, Dylan Parham, and Adam Butler unavailable, leaving the roster thin.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs‘ Travis Kelce, potentially ending his career, reached 13,000 receiving yards. He has yet to announce retirement plans but at the age of 36, the twilight chapter of his career has arrived.
