Tom Brady has been in plenty of intense situations: Super Bowls, fourth quarters, last-minute drives but none quite like this. In a recent interview, the retired NFL legend shared a hilarious and surprisingly human story involving Snoop Dogg, his then 11 year old son Jack, and a wild post game party that left him silently praying his ex wife, Gisele Bündchen, wouldn’t find out.
The moment happened after a game in Atlanta, where Brady and his team had just defeated the Rams. As he tells it, the night ended with an afterparty hosted in their hotel and Snoop Dogg was, of course, the life of it. There was music, celebration, and even a pole on stage. The dancers were clothed, Brady made clear, but still, the scene was a bit more adult than he had anticipated, especially with Jack sitting right beside him at 2 a.m., wide eyed and soaking it all in. “Jack, cover your eyes,” Brady recalled saying. Jack’s response? “Dad, I’m good, I’m good.” That’s when the panic hit. “If he tells his mother,” Brady joked, “I ain’t gonna see this kid for a long time.”
Brady recalls a wild 2am party and the moment he panicked about Gisele
This isn’t the first time Brady has opened up about life after football, and it certainly won’t be the last. Since finalizing his divorce from Gisele Bündchen in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, Brady has been more vocal about what matters most to him: his kids. He’s often shared moments traveling with his daughter Vivian, cheering on his son Jack at sporting events, and simply trying to be present in ways his NFL schedule never allowed. Or he ended up, like in this story, at a somewhat wild party with his underage son by his side.
Sure, Brady has plenty of interesting stories to tell, at least this one he chose to share with fans, where he came off, let’s say, a little irresponsible. But honestly, what would you have done as a parent in his shoes? He laughs at the awkward moments of parenting, admits when he’s caught off guard, and still manages to turn those experiences into stories that anyone famous or not can relate to.
Because at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if you’ve won seven Super Bowls or you’re just trying to survive a week of school drop offs parenting has a way of keeping you grounded. And if you ever find yourself at 2 a.m. Snoop Dogg party with your kid sitting next to a pole? Yeah, that’s a memory that sticks. Tom Brady hasn’t forgotten it and you wouldn’t either.
