Tom Brady has put to rest any doubts about his future in sports broadcasting. After completing his first season as a lead analyst for FOX, the former quarterback confirmed that he will return to the booth for the 2025 NFL season.

Brady took to Instagram to reflect on his debut year and express gratitude for the opportunity, making it clear that his transition from the field to the broadcast booth is far from over.

Brady made his highly anticipated FOX debut in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season, covering the Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns matchup alongside veteran broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt.

While his initial performances received mixed feedback, the seven-time Super Bowl champion appeared to find his rhythm as the season progressed. By the playoffs, he had settled into his role, earning praise for his deep understanding of the game and ability to articulate it in real-time.

As the 2024 NFL season concluded with Super Bowl LIX, Brady shared a heartfelt message on social media, confirming his commitment to broadcasting moving forward.

“The 2024 @nfl season is in the books. It certainly was a new challenge to undertake, but I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be a part of and learn from!” Brady wrote.

“To all of my @nflonfox teammates, producers, crew, and colleagues-you made this experience so special, and I’m grateful for the energy, dedication, and perseverance you brought every week while always delivering the best broadcast for the fans who we serve week in and week out.

“It’s always been about the TEAM and I’m lucky to be part of this great one @foxsports. Wait…How long until Week 1???? LFG!! #ontothenextone.”

Juggling Broadcasting and Ownership

Brady‘s long-term broadcasting contract with FOX, reportedly worth $375 million over 10 years, has raised questions about whether he will remain in the booth or shift his focus to his growing role with the Las Vegas Raiders.

As a minority owner, he is expected to have significant influence over the franchise, particularly during their search for a new quarterback.

Despite his ownership responsibilities, Brady has remained firm on his dedication to FOX. Speaking to Sports Illustrated’s Jimmy Traina earlier this month, he reiterated his long-term plans.

“It’s been an awesome journey these last 18 months, and I know I got another at least 9 years to go and hopefully more,” Brady said.

While he has several months before returning to the booth for the 2025 season, Brady will likely split his time between preparing for his second year as an analyst and helping shape the future of the Raiders organization.
