Tom Brady releases personal response to DJ Khaled’s Fanatics Fest challenge

Even in retirement, Tom Brady‘s competitive fire is still burning bright.

Known for treating every NFL practice like a Super Bowl, the seven-time champion has never been one to back down from a challenge – and that mindset hasn’t faded just because he’s no longer on the field.

Lately, the former quarterback has found himself in a new kind of face-off, this time against music mogul DJ Khaled. And while there’s no championship ring at stake, the intensity is very real.

DJ Khaled Calls Out Brady – And the GOAT Responds

It all started with DJ Khaled posting an Instagram video where he publicly challenged Brady to a golf match.

“You’ve got to give Brady his love and respect,” Khaled said. “But this ain’t the NFL… this is Fanatics Fest. And I’m going to give you that work.”

With a mix of humor and swagger, Khaled reminded Brady that while he admires him, he’s still coming for the win.

Brady didn’t hesitate. He reposted Khaled‘s video to his own story and responded in full GOAT mode.

“@djkhaled You have to do a ‘Tom’s the Best’ remix after I dominate this competition.”

He even backed it with Khaled‘s own anthem, “All I Do Is Win.”

The showdown is expected to take place during Fanatics Fest 2025, happening June 20-22.

One of the major attractions at the event is the debut of the Fanatics Games, a competition featuring 50 fans and 50 celebrities across eight athletic challenges.

Among them? A golf-based “closest-to-the-pin” contest – likely where Khaled and Brady will settle their playful feud.

While golf battles might be fun, there’s a much bigger question swirling around Brady’s future: Could he come out of retirement again – not for the NFL, but for the Olympics?

With flag football making its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games, fans and former teammates are already dreaming about a Brady comeback in red, white, and blue.

When asked about the possibility, Brady offered a tantalizing response: “Never say never.”

Former Patriots teammate Jason McCourty added fuel to the fire during a recent appearance on Up & Adams.

“I could definitely see him doing that,” McCourty said. “He’s still got that arm.”

Though he joked that Brady “can’t outrun anybody,” McCourty agreed the legendary QB would bring instant credibility and star power to the sport.

Brady‘s post-NFL life is shaping up to be anything but quiet. Whether it’s clashing with celebrities at Fanatics Fest or considering Olympic competition, the GOAT continues to push boundaries.

And while 2028 is still a few years away, fans will be watching closely to see if “never say never” turns into one more historic moment in a career already filled with them.

For now, all eyes are on Fanatics Fest – and a golf showdown that could prove the GOAT’s still got it, even off the field.
