Tom Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, has reportedly married for the second time in her life, this time to brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. The wedding comes just months after the birth of their first child together and nearly three years after Bündchen’s highly publicized split from the legendary quarterback.
TMZ reported that the supermodel and Valente tied the knot in early december, according to a source familiar with their relationship. The ceremony reportedly took place at their home in Surfside, Florida.
The wedding marks a formal step forward in their relationship, which became official just months after Bündchen and Brady finalized their divorce in 2022. Bündchen and Valente were first seen together publicly in November of that year, when they traveled to Costa Rica with Brady’s children.
So far, the supermodel has not publicly confirmed the wedding, though TMZ notes that it was far from a small or low-key event. Friends and family were in attendance at what sources described as a carefully planned celebration.

Although Brady has chosen not to expand publicly on the topic, sources close to him have previously claimed that he was fully aware of Bündchen’s relationship with Valente while they were still married. “If she wants people to think she’s only been dating Joaquim since June, that’s fine, but they’ve been together longer and they’re not taking it slow. Tom has accepted it,” a source told the Daily Mail in 2024.
Despite the circumstances surrounding their separation, it is known that Brady congratulated his ex-wife following the birth of her first child in her new marriage, and the two are said to maintain a cordial relationship.
