Tom Brady gets good and bad news following Super Bowl LX result

Although Tom Brady said he had “no dog in the fight” for Super Bowl LX, it was surely not an easy watch for the legendary quarterback. After having spent two decades with the New England Patriots, watching Drake Maye struggle against a swarming Seattle Seahawks defense surely made Brady feel some sympathy.

Brady’s ties to the Patriots likely had him secretly rooting extremely hard for his former team. Brady has to act more partial nowadays due to his roles as FOX Sports commentator and minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. That latter job might be the only reason Brady is leaving Super Bowl night feeling hopeful.

Klint Kubiak confirms he will be the Raiders’ next head coach

That’s because his Raiders have a new head coach. The contract is yet to be signed, but Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak confirmed in a postgame interview that he will accept the Raiders job.

It’s been reported for a little while that Kubiak was going to be Las Vegas’ next head coach, but he kept things close to the vest in the leadup to the Super Bowl. Kubiak probably didn’t want to act as any sort of distraction for his players.

Kubiak will be a first-time head coach in Las Vegas, and will have his work cut out for him. The Raiders’ roster is not in great shape. Thankfully, they have the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, which will almost surely be Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
