Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback of all time, continues to show that he still keeps the competitive mentality after he retired from the NFL.

The 7-time Super Bowl champion is currently Fox Sports‘ lead football analyst, a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, one of the owners of CardVault, a $12 billion sports collectibles industry, and owner of Team Brady E1 Racing Team.

The former Michigan Wolverines quarterback is celebrated as one of the world’s most successful sport stars, and his empire continues to grow. Brady has mentioned multiple times that he doesn’t necessarily needs to throw footballs in order to stay at his most competitive self.

Brady and Nadal squared off

Just before the E1 Monaco event, Tom Brady and iconic tennis player Rafael Nadal squared off, not on a court or field, but on the green. The two sporting legends, both now E1 team owners, brought their competitive fire to a more relaxed setting.

Brady couldn’t help himself. True to form, the NFL GOAT kept jabbing at Nadal, especially when the tennis star’s swing went off the rails. With every missed shot, Tom’s confidence grew, keeping the pressure on the 22-time Grand Slam winner.

While Nadal struggled to find rhythm, Brady stayed composed, throwing subtle jabs and smiling through it all. Their playful but intense rivalry showed that no matter the sport, legends don’t switch off the competitive switch. And Tom came up on top this time.

Team Brady looks to gain momentum

Reigning UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF champions Team Brady have had a quiet start to their 2025 season. But at Lago Maggiore, they brought themselves firmly back into contention for this year’s title, with consistenty being the key.

Coming into Italy, Team Brady found themselves 46 points adrift from the top of the championship, having not had the easiest start to their title defence. Up until the Dubrovnik GP, they’d failed to make it to the podium once, but second in Croatia seemed to give Tom Brady’s team some momentum.

Victory at Lago Maggiore means Team Brady have reduced the championship lead to just 21 points with three rounds remaining. Brady were assisted by the fact that Aoki Racing had a disappointing time at Laggo Maggiore, finishing seventh, but even then, nobody ever looked like beating Team Brady all weekend long.
