He has played a limited schedule since his crash and recovery has been slow, and fans eagerly await his 2026 schedule. After missing full major seasons and completing only four full tournaments over five years, his return remains tentative.
Woods was only able to chip and putt as of early December, but doctors recently cleared him to gradually resume gym work and rotational exercises.
“A good thing to do,” Woods said of the disc replacement. “Something I needed to have happen and it just takes time and dedication to the rehab process.”
