Tiger Woods’ fans grow worried as recent appearance paints bad picture: “He can barely walk”

Golf fans just want to watch Tiger Woods play the sport that he and they love. That simply hasn’t been possible in recent times due to a myriad of injuries that have altered his physical well-being, plunging him into constant rehab instead of being able to find a rhythm out on the golf course.

As things stand, Woods’ last official competition appearance was at the 2024 Open Championship. After that came yet anoher back surgery, a ruptured Achilles and most recently an additional back surgery this October. No one knows when Woods will be well and truly back, or if he ever will. But he did make a public appearance this week ahead of the Hero World Challenge.

Tiger Woods looks uncomfortable walking in recent appearance

Woods is the host of the tournament, so he was sure to be there in person. Unfortunately, he can’t take part, and it’s clear why. The PGA Tour social media account shared a video of Woods arriving for the tournament, and fans couldn’t help but notice that he had trouble walking normally.

It was saddening for many fans who grew up watching Woods dominate the sport.

  • “Love the guy, but he is moving like he’s 75.”
  • “I pulled my back just watching him walk around like that.”
  • “Poor fella can barely walk.”

Some fans made sure to point out that Woods is not very far removed from his lumbar surgery, which was known to knock him out for a lengthy period of time. Still, watching their hero look so uncomfortable doing daily things is painful for many.

There is still hope that Woods can recover from this most recent surgery and get back to playing golf. That’s what everyone wants, even though his body continually betrays him.
