The Kansas City Chiefs‘ Xavier Worthy handed a loving public display of affection to his girlfriend after she posted a photo online as the wide receiver continues to emerge as one of Patrick Mahomes‘ favorite targets.
The 21-year-old rookie out of the Texas Longhorns has made 559 receiving yards from 89 targets through the 2024/25 NFL season and has added five touchdowns as he fills in the void left by Rashee Rice, and until Week 16 return, Hollywood Brown.
But despite his memorable debut to life as a professional footballer, he is making sure he stays in touch with his family and the things that matter away from the field as he shows some love to his fiancée.

The gesture came after Tia Jones, who starred at the track and field USATF Indoor Championships, posted a collage of photos on Instagram as she headed to the Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs take on the Houston Texans.
“Fine Wine,” Worthy commented on her post, which went on to collect 3304 likes and 81 comments, seemingly alluding to the popular phrase of ‘ageing like a fine win’ for someone how looks younger than age.
Jones reveals she initially snubbed Worthy
Worthy and the 24-year-old athletic star met in person when they happened across each other whilst she was running later for a dinner with her friends, allowing the receiver to ask her on a date.
She agreed and the rest is history after they got engaged in July 2024, but it could have all been so different as she revealed she ignored his Instagram message the first time he tried to approach her.
“I received a DM from him before, but I didn’t reply,” Jones told the Pregame Podcast back in November. “It’s Instagram, you know?
“You just swipe past. That’s why God made me late to that dinner, because I met my man.”
