The Oklahoma City Thunder have made history. When Is the Thunder’s Championship Parade?

- Time: 10:30 a.m. CT
Oklahoma City officials have confirmed that the Thunder’s championship parade will take place on the morning of June 24. Fans are expected to fill the streets downtown as the team takes a well-earned victory lap. The celebration will last approximately 90 minutes.
Parade Route
The parade will begin at Northwest 10th Street and North Harvey Avenue, then move:
- South on Harvey Avenue
- West on Northeast Fifth Street
- South on Walker Avenue
- East on Oklahoma City Boulevard
- South on South Robinson Avenue
- Ending at Southwest Sixth Street
Cross streets and surrounding roads will be closed, so fans are encouraged to arrive early and plan ahead. Expect hot and humid weather typical for late June in Oklahoma-bring water, sunscreen, and dress appropriately.
Large crowds are expected to attend the city’s first-ever NBA championship parade. Similar events in other cities have attracted 500,000 people or more. Police officers, firefighters and emergency personnel from across the metro area will be along the route to help ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration.
