Things get worse between Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys; Now the player’s brother sends a strong message to Jerry Jones

Days are passing, and we are less than a week away from the 2025 NFL season opener, where the Dallas Cowboys will face the current champions, the Philadelphia Eagles led by Saquon Barkley. The big controversy surrounding this game currently lies with Micah Parsons, who remains in a standoff with the Cowboys.

By this point, Parsons was expected to have reached a new deal with the Dallas Cowboys. However, no agreement has been made, and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. As a result, the defensive star is not practicing and has not played in any preseason games. Additionally, he has requested a trade to another franchise.

Parsons’ goal is to become the highest-paid non-quarterback player in the NFL, which would mean surpassing TJ Watt’s three-year, $123 million deal with the Steelers-$41 million per year. The Penn State standout is seeking a bit more, and frankly, he has the credentials to justify such a contract.

Micah Parsons’ brother signals a deal With the Cowboys is far off

In four years, Micah Parsons has recorded 52.5 sacks, earned two All-Pro selections, and many other awards. There’s plenty of reason to consider him one of the best players in the NFL, but it seems Jerry Jones isn’t very concerned about the situation, and the ones truly affected are the fans.

Parsons’ brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., dropped a hint that has Cowboys fans increasingly worried. When asked about the contract situation, he replied: “And it’s going to get worse before it gets better.”

The situation didn’t end there. Another fan asked, “What round are we in? At least 10?” and he responded: “I’d say Round 6.”

Things are not looking good. Furthermore, if the Dallas Cowboys hope to compete in the NFC East with the Commanders and Eagles, one player who absolutely must be on the field is Micah Parsons-but it seems that won’t happen unless a miracle occurs.
