Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have kept a rather low-profile in recent times, opting to spend time together away from the limelight rather than make public appearances.
Ever since Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a heavy defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, the couple have opted to bounce back from the disappointment by taking a vacation abroad.
Since returning, they’ve also had a couple of date nights – all while keeping away from the eye of the public though.
Try as they might to keep away from the paparazzi, there are photos of the couple swirling around social media during a recent night out in New York City.
There were plenty of fans who were happy to catch a glimpse of Swift and Kelce, but some were angered at the sight of the couple.
Why some fans were angry
“this (expletive) irks me to no extent like can we just leave her be and not post her every move like this .. idk its so annoying and it just is like dissecting her life,” read a comment on X.
“STOP IT LOOKS LIKE SHES HIDING,” added another.
A third wrote: “So? Leave them be ffs.”
Another wrote: “It makes me sad that “someone”, feels “pap” shots have to released to quiet rumours. That this couple can’t just live in peace & quiet.”
Given Swift is usually very deliberate with what she does, some fans believe she is laying low for a good reason. That’s why they would prefer the paparazzi keep their distance from the couple for the time being.
