These are the rules for Jake Paul’s next fight against Mexican boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

On June 28, 2025, Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.will face each other in a professional exhibition fight at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The fight promises to be a new bet of the media phenomenon Jake Paul, who will seek to consolidate himself against a rival with history in the ring

Although some of Jake Paul’s fights are exhibitions, this one was sanctioned as a professional fight. The California commission approved a professional fight with an official record, judge and referee. Thus, if someone wins, it is added to his boxing record.

  4. Jake Paul (11-1) is looking to bolster his credibility after defeating Mike Tyson in a similar professional rules fight (8 rounds, 2 minutes, 14 oz)
  5. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (5461) will try to prove that he still brings quality and can be at the required level with serious training
  6. There are no special rules such as heavier gloves or shorter rounds, as was the case against Tyson.
  7. The usual professional boxing rules in the Queensberry style will be followed: 3-minute rounds, referee, judges, no extra protection.

The fight between Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will be a serious professional bout, with clear cruiserweight-style rules: 10 three-minute rounds and 10oz gloves, with no concessions typical of Paul’s shows.
