There’s a dark streak for the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field, and Jaxson Dart could face a tough challenge next Sunday

There’s no doubt that he is both the present and future of the New York Giants. After a bleak period for the franchise, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. The Ole Miss product is putting the Giants back on the NFL map, and he’s doing it immediately. New York is becoming a real headache for opponents.

Yes, last Sunday’s loss was painful for the Giants-they gave up 33 points in the final quarter-but looking on the bright side, it’s been a long time since New York had a quarterback capable of standing up to a top defense. Dart totaled four touchdowns against the Denver Broncos, one of the NFL’s strongest teams.

Jaxson Dart has become the true leader of the Giants. If he is surrounded by talent in the coming years, we could see New York emerge from the darkness it has been in since winning the Super Bowl in 2012 and contend at the top of the National Conference.

Jaxson Dart faces a tough mission in Week 8

Before the painful loss to the Denver Broncos, the Giants hosted the Philadelphia Eagles and crushed them 34-17 on Thursday Night Football in Week 6, with standout performances from Jaxson Dart and Cam Skateebo. That night, Dart was simply spectacular, recording both a passing and a rushing touchdown.

Now, a couple of weeks later, Dart and the Giants will visit the Philadelphia Eagles. Although the Giants won the previous matchup, they are currently 7-point underdogs in the betting lines when facing Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley in Philadelphia. The mission looks extremely challenging, but based on Dart’s performance, there is belief they can compete in this game.

Dart will enter this game with immense pressure on his shoulders. The Giants’ season is on the verge of falling apart, and the reality is that New York hasn’t won at Lincoln Financial Field-the Eagles’ home-since 2013. That’s a 12-year drought for the Giants as visiting team against Philadelphia.

Back then, Eli Manning was the Giants’ quarterback, and Matt Barkley led the Eagles. With that weight on his shoulders, Jaxson Dart will step onto the field next Sunday, with New York needing a victory to stay alive in 2025.
