The sporting world is in shock after the fatal accident on the Lagos-Ibadan highway in Nigeria on Monday, where former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua miraculously escaped with his life.
The boxer was traveling as a passenger in a luxury van that violently crashed into a truck parked on the highway. Although Joshua managed to get out of the vehicle on his own with minor injuries, the incident turned into a tragedy when it was confirmed that two of his companions died at the scene.
