Dominican Republic’s 7-5 victory over Venezuela was an authentic fireworks display for the Dominican team. Juan Soto, Ketel Marte, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Fernando Tatis Jr. hit home runs that confirmed the offensive power of the roster led by Albert Pujols

Each of them hit the ball out of the park. These four hits contributed to the Dominican Republic’s home run tally in the tournament to 13. With this they managed to break a record: in four games they surpassed the 12 home runs that Mexico hit in 2009 during the same number of games.

  • Against Venezuela, the Dominican Republic has won five of the six meetings between the two teams. Venezuela’s only victory came in the 2023 edition.

Considered one of the best baseball players in the first round, the Dominican is in great form with the Dominican Republic.
