Omar Bravo has been the subject of the week and not precisely because of his past as a footballer, but because of a serious accusation that has him in preventive detention. The former Chivas de Guadalajara striker was accused of the alleged crime of aggravated child sexual abuse and on October 4 he was arrested by the police while the investigation continues to gather more background information.
After an interview between journalist Ahtziri Cardenas and the victim’s legal representative, the details of the case were made public and the controversy spread in Mexico and the world. Among the details, it was revealed that the woman (the victim’s mother), Bravo’s partner, said she was unaware of the facts until that day, when her daughter told her what happened.
After the complaint and the arrest of Bravo, details have continued to be revealed against the former player, however, there is a photograph that could take an unexpected turn.

Omar Bravo’s sister revealed an image that could be of help to the former soccer player and could disprove certain things. The photo, which is on Instagram, is of Omar with his sister and other people. Interestingly, the date is May 10, 2019, the date on which there is an accusation against Bravo according to the complaint he received.
“He been in Los Mochis with me and my family. We have photos, reservations, boarding passes and witnesses. I even allowed an expert to check my cell phone to validate the dates,” Omar Bravo’s sister, Daniela, explained.

Daniela Bravo, sister of the former Chivas striker, held a press conference to defend Omar and explain certain points of the lawsuit.
Among the points addressed, Daniela commented that the girl’s uncle who made the complaint had already had problems with Omar, after he defrauded him of 6 million pesos and that this debt was a year before the abuse began.
“I have no doubt that this is an economic issue. Omar supported this family for years and was defrauded. He lent them money, approximately 6 million pesos, and they never paid him back,” explained Daniela Bravo, who hopes that certain things will be clarified.
