The offensive players who could be the most explosive next season

As with every season, NFL teams bolster their rosters to increase their chances of reaching the Super Bowl. Some of these new additions arrive with solid career numbers but lacked the supporting cast to thrive at the highest level. Others have already proven to be offensive powerhouses with their current teams. But which offensive players will emerge with the explosiveness their franchises need?

You’re probably already thinking of Lamar Jackson and Saquon Barkley. Of course-they’re among the top picks in most predictions, and there are certainly others we expect to live up to the hype.

Lamar Jackson is aiming for a season that takes him to the championship game

He’s spent several years dominating his position and his division, yet somehow hasn’t been able to take his team to the AFC title game. That “somehow” may have a few names: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow.

These three quarterbacks have been the dominant forces in the AFC finals in recent years. Facing rivals of that caliber makes the path to the Super Bowl difficult-but not impossible.

This year, Jackson is expected to post numbers as dominant as those of past seasons. If everything aligns, this might finally be his year.

Saquon Barkley is chasing another dream season

He’s motivated-and that’s a lot for a player who just came off an NFL title. The Eagles recently gave him a two-year, $41.2 million extension, making him the highest-paid running back in the league.

Last season, he racked up 2,005 total yards and led the NFL in scoring in a single season, including the postseason. He also recorded 46 carries of over 10 yards each.

It’s very obvious when you watch the tape how good of a player he is, right. But the things that he has that he brings to our football team as far as his leadership, his work ethic. He’s an awesome teammate. Those are the things that make him very special.

Coach Siriani said about Saquon.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has plenty to prove

Last year, he set a franchise record with 20 touchdowns from scrimmage. Every time he touches the ball, good things seem to happen for the Lions.

He finished the season as the fourth player in the league to reach at least 1,900 yards from scrimmage. Of his touchdowns, 16 came through the air and 4 on the ground.

A weapon opposing teams will have to fear whenever they face Detroit.

Ja’Marr Chase is poised for a breakout year

He became the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL with the extension he signed this offseason-an incentive that’s bound to fuel his desire to prove he’s worth every cent.

Chase and Joe Burrow have formed one of the league’s most dangerous duos, and their chemistry is steadily pushing them closer to elite territory. All signs point to this being their season.

These four players are ready to return to top form, give their all on the field, and be vital contributors to their teams.
