Do you feel like there isn’t enough NBA in your life? Don’t worry! This week, the league will make all the basketball you could ever need and more available to you with a new online content model featuring 24/7 programming through NBA TV and the NBA App.

This Monday, October 13, the NBA announced a shakeup in the way it delivers online content. Starting Wednesday, October 15, NBA TV and the NBA App will offer not only live games, but a whole new slate of programming.

“NBA TV and the NBA App are designed to be a connected global hub for basketball coverage, delivering nonstop access to live games, original programming, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content,” the league said in a statement.

Sara Zuckert, Senior Vice President and Head of the NBA App, assured that the app “will provide a seamless, always-on digital experience for fans with access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.” But that’s not all.

The NBA App arrives with original programming

The flagship show of the new NBA platform will be “The Association.” This show will offer information about the league, analysis, and the latest NBA storylines.

Reporters MJ Acosta-Ruiz and Chris Haynes will join former NBA coach David Fizdale and former players Rudy Gay and John Hall, among others, to take viewers on a tour of the most relevant NBA events each week.

Furthermore, the NBA will leverage its vast social media content. The platform will integrate a selection of the best podcasts related to the league, such as Coaches’ Corner hosted by Tim Legler.

Viewers will also find a glimpse into what’s happening beyond the NBA, with games and highlights from the league’s top prospects playing in international leagues around the world.

Games will be the focus of the new NBA App

Amid the innovations, the league hasn’t lost sight of its primary product: games. With an NBA TV subscription, fans will be able to watch all NBA and WNBA games streamed live on NBA TV through the app.

The league announced that the app will broadcast 60 NBA regular-season games, starting with the matchup between the champion Oklahoma City Thunder and the Atlanta Hawks on October 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Fans will also have three tripleheaders available throughout the season, starting with the one on December 20. In other words, you’ll soon have so much NBA action in the palm of your hand that you won’t know what to do with it.
