Lamar Odom: “I didn’t do drugs while I was playing, but in the summers, yes”
The two-time NBA champion stressed that “I didn’t do drugs while I was playing, but in the summers, yes. It would be crazy if I did cocaine and played at the same time.”

That means I was playing, I won the Player of the Year award and I was still shooting a reality show. So I know I had the motivation and personality for it.”
“But overall, my greatness and my legacy… yes, I did hurt them with drug abuse. 100%,” he confessed.

Marijuana doesn’t get you high, like if you say, ‘Let me try cocaine.’ I started smoking when I was 14 or 15 years old. It’s also a trauma. My mother died when I was 12 years old… You’re going to explode after losing your mother, my mother was my best friend… I remember at 10 years old telling my mother that I was going to the NBA and bought her a huge house, and at 12 she was gone,” he told ‘The Cousins’
