Patrick Mahomes is entering a new season with a clear goal: to win the Super Bowl. Last year will remain an unforgettable chapter in his career despite dominating the season from start to finish, and now he’s ready to prove he’s still the best quarterback in the NFL.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback himself tried to lead the team to the top without much luck, but he’s now preparing to take revenge with a physical transformation that shows the years have left their mark.

Patrick Mahomes’ physical transformation

On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs highlighted a “before and after” of Patrick Mahomes, who is entering his ninth season in the NFL.

While many still see Mahomes as a “young” player in the league, the truth is he’s been competing at the highest level for some time, and the team took the opportunity to showcase his transformation over the years.

“Year 9 with QB1,” the official Kansas City Chiefs social media account posted.

Mahomes sports a different haircut, and his physical change is evident, paired with the same winning mentality as he aims to play in his fourth consecutive Super Bowl.

In last season with Kansas City, the star quarterback recorded 26 touchdown passes, 3,928 passing yards, and a 67.5% completion rate.

Throughout his career with the Chiefs, he has led the team to three Super Bowl titles and five AFC championships, while being named NFL MVP twice.
