The Giants’ quarterback who was drafted before Shedeur Sanders shows he doesn’t know how to make a snap count

Shedeur Sanders was a college star during last season, largely due to the hype and the relationships his father, Deion Sanders, built throughout his career. Coach Primetime helped the Colorado program-and specifically his son, Shedeur-gain more attention than any other college team.

However, the former Buffaloes quarterback kept falling further down the draft board during Thursday night’s NFL Draft until a surprise occurred. The Giants traded up, preparing to select a quarterback, but they chose someone other than Shedeur. Instead, they picked Jaxson Dart, an Ole Miss alumnus who showcased his immense talent during the latest college season.

In a recent video with Jon Gruden, Jaxson Dart displayed a moment that might not sit well with Giants fans. When the former Raiders head coach asked him to demonstrate the snap count, Dart simply clapped instead of performing the drill. Gruden was taken aback. Is Dart truly a first-round talent? Will he shine in the NFL?

The Giants’ decision surprised many in the football world, but they weren’t the only team that overlooked Shedeur; the Saints, Steelers, Raiders, and Titans all let him pass as well.

It’s clear that Sanders possesses significant talent and will make those teams regret their choice. This raises the question: what are these teams trying to avoid? Are they steering clear of Deion Sanders and his ongoing controversies? Or do they doubt Shedeur’s abilities?

This season will reveal the outcomes, but I personally have a good feeling about Jaxson Dart with the Giants, Cam Ward with Tennessee, and I believe Shedeur will contribute significantly to the league, no matter which team he ends up with.
