The Dodgers are being asked to renew Miguel Rojas to reward his role in the World Series triumph

It is a time of change. These are important times with the trades in MLB. There are many players who are on the rumor lists to leave their teams. Others are strongly rumored to remain with their organizations. In the case of the Dodgers, all eyes are on Miguel Rojas.

For MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, the Dodgers should re-sign the veteran infielder who had standout performances in Games 6 and 7 against the Blue Jays. In his opinion, the Venezuelan is an element that is fundamental for the critical moments of the team, as he demonstrated against Toronto in ‘the fall classic’.

Rojas has been an important veteran in the Dodgers clubhouse. He also hit one of the biggest home runs of 2025. He wants to return to Los Angeles, and it would not be a surprise if the Dodgers brought him back after what we saw in October

After playing very good baseball down the stretch, split between second and third base, Rojas was largely kept on the bench during the playoffs after Tommy Edman was deemed healthy enough to start full-time at second base.

The fans love him too

Los Angeles fans will not forget that the 36-year-old second baseman hit the home run in the ninth inning that tied the score in Game 7 against the Blue Jays, before Will Smith scored the winning run in the 11th.

With the offseason in full swing with possible ups and downs, fans are joining Feinsand’s clamor for the team to negotiate a good contract with Rojas to stay in the 2026 season and, why not, aspire to the MLB championship with an experienced baseball player like him on the field.
