“I think we showed determination and had a couple of good responses in the first half, but in the third, I don’t know. I thought maybe it was a little bit of fatigue. We looked tired at one point.”
In addition to giving his players credit, some wanted to bring up a “locker room issue,” but Chris didn’t think it was important and changed the subject to fatigue.
However, he couldn’t hide the fact that a lack of confidence was a determining factor in the defeat. He didn’t only see the good in a team that struggled with turnovers and made many mistakes in the final stretch of the game.
