The Los Angeles Dodgers are the two-time champions and have begun defending their crown in the 2026 season with a commanding victory, proving they will remain at the top and in pursuit of a third consecutive championship.

With the tremendous roster they possess, they once again position themselves as the clear favorites to repeat and want the rest of Major League Baseball to understand that they arrived intending to go even further.

The powerful statement by Miguel Rojas

With that in mind, which is also backed on the field by tremendous and very solid performances both offensively and defensively, the Dodgers know that, once again, they are the team to beat.

That is why the Los Angeles player is not shy when he delivers a direct message to every remaining MLB team about what they will have to do if they want to defeat them.

Just to mention some of their biggest winners are:

  • Shohei Ohtani
  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto
  • Freddie Freeman
  • Kiké Hernández

That is why teams approach every opportunity to eliminate the Dodgers with urgency and do not back down in any series against them. For now, they have started the defense of their crown on the right foot.

They understand the expectations that come with their recent dominance, and they embrace the pressure that follows them into every ballpark they visit. Opponents study them, prepare for them, and measure themselves against them, yet Los Angeles continues to set the standard, making it clear that any path to a championship in this era inevitably runs through the Dodgers and their relentless pursuit of excellence year after year again-
