The Browns continue their revolution to give Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson a guarantee of success

The Cleveland Browns have a new head coach. Todd Monken arrives with fresh ideas and strong determination to pull the franchise out of the constant frustration in which it has lived for years. To achieve that, he has been working alongside his staff to rebuild the team..

During this offseason, they have been analyzing potential players who could arrive at the franchise and help the two quarterbacks who are projected as the likely starters:

  • Shedeur Sanders
  • Deshaun Watson

Although both quarterbacks and Dillon Gabriel are competing for the QB1 position, they understand that they need a stronger offensive line that can allow them to develop plays more effectively and increase their chances of coming out on top in games.

The Browns’ new acquisitions

In Cleveland, they view this offseason as crucial, as they evaluate players who could arrive and have an immediate impact. For that reason, they have already completed several signings to strengthen the offense.

The Browns signed Tytus Howard, Elgton Jenkins, and Zion Johnson. They also still have the additions they are planning for the upcoming draft, where another offensive lineman is expected to be selected.

A busy week for the Browns has been led by three major offensive line additions: right tackle Tytus Howard (via trade), guard Zion Johnson and center/guard Elgton Jenkins.”…”All three players signed deals worth eight figures annually. But I think Cleveland will take this O-line investment one step further.

Field Yates

Freeling has been a favorite of mine throughout the predraft process and has as much upside as any offensive tackle in this class. He could develop into Cleveland’s starting left tackle, as his ability to mirror rushers with his lateral agility and length at 6-foot-7 (34-inch arms) stand out. The ideal situation for Freeling would be spending time as a sixth offensive lineman right out of the gate. But most teams picking this high can’t offer that.

Field Yates

ESPN analyst Field Yates wrote. The team may also look for another veteran who can support the adaptation process of the rookie expected to arrive in Cleveland.

Cleveland wants Monroe Freeling

The Browns’ offensive line has been, to say the least, a disaster. Because of that, it is widely known that they are looking to reinforce the unit. There is speculation that with their first two selections, they could target offensive tackles.

Monroe Freeling has been mentioned as a player who could arrive at the Browns, according to Tim Bielik of Cleveland.com.

The Browns need a left tackle, and Freeling sticks out in a class where the consensus top-two tackles – Spencer Fano and Francis Mauigoa – are not left tackles.”…”That doesn’t mean they’re not good, but their best pro positions are not at LT. Freeling has as good a chance as any tackle in this class to play left tackle.

Tim Bielik

But there’s still some projection on the part of a team making this pick. Freeling has just 16 starts in college, and he still has work to do as a run blocker. That said, at 21 years old, Freeling has a lot of room for growth, and it’s easy to trust a lineman coming from Georgia with how Andrew Thomas has developed with the Giants and the potential Amarius Mims is flashing with the Bengals.

Tim Bielik

Bielik wrote.

That is how the Browns are beginning to rebuild their entire offense in hopes of becoming contenders again and leaving behind the deep hole in which the franchise has been stuck for quite some time now, seeking stability and consistent results.
