When two iconic boxers meet in the ring, the events leading up to the fight always have the potential to contain viral moments. Generally, those come through press conferences and face-offs, but there’s also the actual fight night. Before the bout occurs, the boxers arrive in style and get situated in their locker rooms. A lot of times, they are visited by celebrities and high-profile figures.

Given the starpower of both Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford, that was always going to be the case on September 13. Mike Tyson showing up was practically a given, but a stunning professional athlete showed up to give Crawford some support, and it took everyone by surprise. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese came through and made her presence felt in Crawford’s locker room.

An hour before the scheduled ring walks, Reese strolled into Crawford’s locker room and greeted the iconic boxer. They shook hands and hugged, while Crawford also shook the hand of Reese’s friend. Reese and Crawford talked a bit before taking a picture together.

Fans couldn’t help but notice how tall Reese looked next to Crawford. The boxer is 5-foot-8, while Reese is 6-foot-3 and was also wearing high heels. Some fans were also slightly concerned for Crawford, claiming that Reese was there as a distraction, with her good looks taking him off his game.

Crawford looked locked in, so that shouldn’t be a problem. In fact, another fan mentioned that it could be “extra motivation” for the boxer on fight night. Whatever happens, both Crawford and Reese will have a picture together for the history books.
