Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s love story appears to be entering a new, more grounded chapter. For the first time since the couple started dating in the summer of 2023, they’re heading into an NFL season without the stress of overlapping work schedules.
“Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule,” a source told People on Thursday.
“This fall will be completely different. It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.”
A new chapter for the couple begins this fall
The couple have endured a whirlwind since their romance became public. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been deep in the grind of NFL seasons, while Swift has spent much of the last two years captivating audiences worldwide with her history-making Eras Tour.
The tour began in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, and concluded just this past December in Vancouver, Canada.
“The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible,” the insider shared. “It wasn’t easy but they made it work.”
Now, as Swift steps into a rare period of professional calm, she’s eager to turn her attention toward Kelce and support his career from a more settled place.
“Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped, and she’s genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently,” the source revealed to People. “Taylor plans to be at as many of his games as possible.”
With Kelce currently in offseason training, and the 2025-26 NFL season set to kick off in September, the couple is reportedly looking forward to finally establishing a more stable daily rhythm together.
“They’ve both had such demanding schedules for so long, so having this stretch of time where things aren’t quite as chaotic feels like a welcome change,” the source added. “They expect to settle into more of a routine and they’re both really happy about that.”
According to a report from the Daily Mail in May, once Kelce is finished playing football, marriage may be the next topic on the table.
“Once Kelce is done playing, the conversation [about marriage] will be front and center,” the outlet shared, suggesting that big personal milestones could soon follow the end of his professional career.
In fact, fans are already speculating that Swift and Kelce may have taken a major step together already.
