During an interview with Good Morning America, Ed Kelce, Travis’s father, surprised viewers by revealing previously unknown details about the engagement. According to him, the proposal took place on August 10, just over two weeks ago, and the news was shared during a family call that included Swift’s parents and the Kelces.

Ed Kelce didn’t hesitate to say that Swift is fitting in wonderfully with the family. After the premiere of The Kingdom, ESPN’s docuseries about the Chiefs’ championship season, the singer hosted an intimate dinner for him, Donna Kelce, and Travis in her backyard. “Just look at them, they’re crazy about each other,” he said with a smile.
