Sydney Thomas, the Ring Girl who went viral and drove fans inside and outside of boxing wild during the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, revealed what her relationship with the YouTuber-turned-boxer was like, dailymail.co.uk reported.
The 21-year-old shot to fame in November when fans declared her “the real winner” after the fight between Paul and Tyson that disappointed almost every boxing fan at AT&T Stadium.
And after her new-found fame, the University of Alabama student revealed she will return to the ring for fights with Most Valuable Promotions, which is owned by Paul, after meeting the influencer in Texas.
“I spoke to him at the fight and he said, ‘keep doing your thing'”, Thomas told PEOPLE, adding that Paul told him he was “doing a great job” in the ring.
The model and social media star was one of the five Ring Girls who worked during the event, alongside Virginia Sanhouse, Lexi Williams, Delia Sylvain and Raphaela Milagres.

Following his newfound popularity, Thomas revealed that his social media has been flooded with messages on Instagram and TikTok from his thousands of new followers since the fight.
“There is everything from blue check marks to random people,” she said, revealing that most are “people trying to take a chance with me or trying to ask me out.”
However, Sydney noted that after ending a romantic relationship last summer, she said she was not ready to dive back into the dating world
I’m not even interested in reading any of that. I’m very happy with myself, and that’s where all my time goes, so anyone who comes up to me and wants to be with me, I just don’t care because I have no intention of getting involved in that.
Thomas is in his final year of college, but has been taking his classes online to keep a flexible schedule.
However, as new opportunities arise amid her newfound popularity, Thomas admitted that she feels overwhelmed
“Everyone has been asking me what’s next and I never expected this to fall into my hands all at once, so I really haven’t thought about the future,” she said. “Now, it’s all these big life questions like: ‘What do you want to be? What do you want to do?'”
“These are such important things in this world that now, at 21 years old, I have to decide all these things for myself, it’s a lot right now, so I’m still figuring it out,” she concluded.
