Sydney Thomas shared some more photos from Jake Paul’s victory over Iron Mike Tyson on Friday, November 15 as the 20-year-old blonde model continues to become increasingly popular after being noticed at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The University of Alabama student was one of the ring girls working during the night at the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and went viral online thanks to her tanned skin, beaming smile and flowing blonde hair, as well as other things.
She joked at being shocked at the sudden explosion in popularity, which happened effectively overnight, and now she’s decided to give fans an extra glimpse into her life as she posted a series of photos to Instagram.
Images included her posing besides the boxing ring, holding round cards, standing ringside and taking a group photo with her colleagues as she worked as one part of a team of five other women, earning over 110,000 likes.
“What a night,” Thomas wrote with a boxing glove emoji. “Getting the opportunity to step into the ring with @MikeTyson and @JakePaul for such a historic fight is something I never imagined I’d be able to say.
“Words can’t describe this moment or how grateful I am to be part of such an amazing team at @MostValuablePromotions. History was made, and I’m truly honored to have been a part of it.”
How many followers does Sydney Thomas have?
The young woman already had a solid fan base online before going viral over Friday night and Saturday morning, but that has simply been thrust into an entirely different planet because of Paul and Tyson’s bout.
She now boasts 872,000 likes on TikTok, where some of her videos have over a million likes, and she has 549,000 likes on her Instagram page as her popularity and career begins to take off to stratospheric levels.
Paul won the bout by unanimous decision, with the three judges scoring the fight in favor of The Problem Child to the scores of 80-72, 79-73, 79-73.
