Sydney Thomas entered a new level of popularity after going viral during the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight.
The 21-year-old, who is a student at the University of Alabama, blew up on social media following the appearance, as she now has over 840,000 followers on Instagram.
Thomas’ appearance as a ring girl has given her plenty of notoriety on social media, as well as in her daily life.

During an appearance on the ‘Like A Farmer Podcast’, Thomas revealed that a big name SEC football coach slid into her DMs with a Crimson Tide-themed message following a flight.
“It was from another SEC football team coach. And they just DM’d me, ‘Roll Tide,'” Thomas said.
“So I’m not going to say what coach it was, but they’re an Alabama fan, now at least. We’ll let everyone else figure that out for themselves, who it was.”
Fans speculate on who it could have been
Thomas’ comments has sparked plenty of debate amongst fans online as to the identity of the coach.
While some have pointed to Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, others have turned to Auburn coach Hugh Freeze.
“Gotta be Lane Kiffin,” wrote one fan, with another adding: “I love how everyone knows it’s Lane Kiffin.
“Joey Freshwater strikes again,” wrote another fan in reference to Kiffin’s nickname.
Another wrote: “I will bet an absurd amount of money that it was Lane Kiffin.”
As for Thomas, she is gearing up for what she hopes will be a big 2025.
“A love letter to 2024… a year of love, growth, discovery, and change,” she wrote while reflecting on the past year.
“Going into 2025 here is my little reminder to you-count your blessings and hold your people tight. we are so blessed to be here today. love hard, hug harder, and appreciate everything and everyone. life is such a beautiful thing, and it’s most valuable parts are free.”
