Following the end of her engagement to longtime partner Jonathan Davino earlier this year, the 27-year-old actress is reportedly choosing to spend time focusing on herself rather than dating.
Her post-breakup appearances have raised a few eyebrows. Shortly after news broke of the split, she was seen attending Glen Powell’s sister’s wedding, which quickly sparked rumors. However, those close to the situation insisted Sweeney and Powell are simply friends. A few weeks later, she was back in the headlines after dancing with other celebrities during Jeff Bezos’ high-profile wedding in Venice.
But the actress appears to be avoiding romantic entanglements altogether, despite the buzz.

“She was in a relationship with Jonathan for so long, she just wants space to find her footing again,” a source told Star Magazine. “She swore to herself she would take her time, so as tempting as some of these guys are, she’s sticking to her guns.”
The same source added, “There’s been a parade of eligible bachelors trying to shoot their shot – everyone has heard about her and Tom Brady dancing in Venice.”
Despite the attention she receives both on and off the screen, Sweeney is staying committed to her own path. She is set to appear in two upcoming films, Americana and Eden, both premiering in theaters on August 22. The latter also stars Ana de Armas and Vanessa Kirby.
