Steve Kerr loses his temper and gets ejected while Snoop Dogg enjoys narrating the altercation

Steve Kerr was ejected on Monday night after storming onto the court to confront officials, a dramatic sequence that defined the Golden State Warriors‘ 103-102 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The incident came during a tense finish at the Intuit Dome. A layup attempt by Gary Payton II appeared to hit the glass before being blocked by Clippers guard John Collins, but officials did not whistle goaltending.

Kerr immediately charged onto the floor, unleashing an animated protest toward the referees. Moments later, he was tossed from the game with more than seven minutes still on the clock.

It was a rare sight from a coach long associated with calm control and championship pedigree. Instead, frustration boiled over, and Golden State was left to navigate the closing minutes without its head coach as the game slipped away by a single point.

The missed call itself was difficult to ignore. Replays suggested Payton‘s shot touched the backboard, and even the Clippers crowd grew quiet as play continued.

Kerr clearly felt the moment demanded action. His reaction, however, did little to change the outcome and only added to the night’s tension.

Adding an unexpected layer to the scene was the broadcast. Snoop Dogg, serving as a Peacock guest commentator, narrated Kerr‘s outburst in real time, turning a heated officiating dispute into a viral moment.

While opinions were divided on Kerr‘s behavior, the response to Snoop Dogg‘s commentary was overwhelmingly positive, with viewers praising his timing and humor.

Warriors respond late, but frustration defines the night

Afterward, Stephen Curry stood firmly behind his coach, focusing on how the team responded rather than the officiating.

“Coach did the right thing. We responded the right way, gave ourselves a chance to win,” Curry said.

With Kerr ejected, assistant coach Terry Stotts took the podium after the game, offering a line that blended loyalty with levity.

“I’m up here because I’m saving Steve Kerr some money. That’s the only reason I’m here,” Stotts said.

Golden State nearly pulled off a rally despite the turmoil, but the narrow loss added another frustrating entry to a season marked by inconsistency. The Los Angeles Clippers, now sitting at 13 wins, escaped with the victory, though the game itself was almost overshadowed by the sideline drama.
