Michael Jordan is ready to take on a new challenge, and it’s sure to make headlines. NBC Sports will be broadcasting NBA games next season, but that’s not all. The Chicago Bulls legend will be a contributor to NBC‘s broadcasts and the Peacock streaming platform.

They are putting together a spectacular team of experts and analysts who will be giving us their opinions on the NBA games this fall. Carmelo Anthony, Jamal Crawford, Reggie Miller and the voices of Mike Tirico and Noah Eagle have already been announced.

Someone who is very excited about this new facet of Michael Jordan is the charismatic Stephen A. Smith, who has not hidden his feelings, as he considers the former Chicago player to be the best of all time and is surprised to see Michael Jordan with such an analytical eye for basketball.

MJ has crazy stats and is recognized by all NBA experts, so it’s normal to have high expectations because his comments can contribute much more than other analysts. These words will come from the best and can give viewers a different perspective and focus.

Stephen A. Smith wants an extroverted Michael Jordan on TV

On his ESPN show “First Take,” the analyst gave his first comments on MJ‘s arrival at NBC.

“I just want to know, is it going to be the Michael Jordan you see on TV? Or is it going to be the Michael Jordan that we talk to? Because if it’s the Michael Jordan we talk to, it’s going to be epic,”Smith said.

Expectations are high, and we’ll have to wait and see. It definitely doesn’t look like he’s going to disappoint, which is very unusual for Michael Jordan, because his career has been defined by greatness and championships. This new facet will be different, but just like on the court, he’ll deliver.

MJ had 15 seasons in the NBA between the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards, where he completely changed the game. He boasts five MVP awards, six Finals MVP awards, 11 All-NBA selections, 14 All-Star appearances and 10 leading scorer titles.

His legacy is indelible and he is ready for this new challenge in his career.
