Stephen A. Smith is always making waves in the media with his controversial statements. Now he’s no exception with a very clear statement about the singer and girlfriend of Travis Kelce.
One of the theories of NFL fans is to point out that Kansas City Chiefs always get help in their games because Taylor Swift is a fan of the team. And is that the singer is not very into the sport, only because of her boyfriend and Chiefs player, Travis.
The reality is that her appearance at Kansas City games generates a lot of attention and headlines are everywhere. The NFL is able to capitalize on her image every time Taylor is in their box.
It is not for less, she is the biggest singer in recent years and has a very strong impact on society, besides being a role model for many people, her fandoms in social media are huge communities.

Polemic victory of the Chiefs over the Texans
The Chiefs are one of the most hated teams in the NFL world, that’s why this theory continues to grow and will continue to live on because of what it generates in social media.
They are always in the controversy and more after what happened in the last game because they had some situations in favor of the judges that made the difference to beat Houston Texas 23-14.
Texas did not keep quiet and pointed out to the referees that they were unfair, even the head coach, Demeco Ryans, did not keep absolutely nothing and complained against them: “We knew going into this game, man, that it was ‘Us vs. Everybody’ and when I say everybody, it’s everybody,” he said in a press conference.
Smith finds culprit
During a chat on First Take, Stephen, in his usual style, commented that he shouldn’t think badly, but that it was very clear that the Kansas City Chiefs were getting help from Taylor Swift and somehow Patrick Mahomes as well:
“Here’s where the controversy comes in, and it’s uncomfortable, but we’re going to say it because it’s First Take. We’re going to bring up the fact that Patrick Mahomes has box office appeal. We’re going to bring up the fact that it doesn’t hurt that Taylor Swift is a Chiefs fan. That doesn’t mean the officials are going out there and doing this stuff on purpose, but it’s not like the audience doesn’t have a reason to go, ‘What the hell is going on here?” he said.
