The Indiana team is sixth in the WNBA standings, and Stephanie White knows better than anyone that not having Caitlin Clark weighs heavily. That’s why the Fever coach must act quickly and make changes, reinventing her players while taking advantage of the break after the WNBA All-Star Game.

This major sporting event, featuring the best basketball players in the world, took place this weekend. Team Collier took the crown after a final score of 151-131 over Team Clark; the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis was the venue that hosted the all-star clash.

Caitlin Clark’s injury and development are reported by Stephanie White

The groin injury Clark suffered a few days ago has kept her off the court in recent games, and she has yet to fully recover. According to WNBA source Scott Agness, White stated that the team will meet again with the medical staff to evaluate the next steps regarding the star’s recovery.

The Fever coach says Caitlin Clark plans to meet with doctors early this week and that they will then formulate a plan. Clark has been dealing with a groin injury, which has significantly affected her recent playing time with the Indiana Fever.

These are Stephanie White’s keys to renewing the Indiana Fever

The 2025 WNBA season has been anything but consistent for the Fever. With their star player missing nearly half of the season so far, Stephanie White has had to find solutions. While it hasn’t been an easy task, the coach has managed to keep the team afloat.

The Fever are sixth, which positions them for a run at the playoffs. When a reporter asked how the team could avoid defeats, White set clear goals. She said, “For some, it’s visualization; for others, it’s watching more film, whether it’s of them or their performance, and we also need more time to practice“.

Indiana Fever WNBA schedule

Although there is no official information yet on when Caitlin Clark will return to the court, these are the upcoming matchups the Fever will face as they look to stay in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

  • vs. New York Liberty, July 22
  • vs. Las Vegas Aces, July 24
  • vs. Chicago Sky, July 27
  • vs. Phoenix Mercury, July 30
  • vs. Dallas Wings, August 1
