Steph Curry breaks Bryson DeChambeau’s ankles in viral clip that leaves LeBron James laughing

Steph Curry has made defenders look foolish for more than a decade, but his latest highlight came on a basketball court shared with golfer Bryson DeChambeau.

A viral social media video showed the Golden State Warriors superstar putting DeChambeau through the wringer in a lighthearted one-on-one matchup, complete with slick handles, a trademark turnaround jumper, and his signature “night night” celebration.

The clip, which quickly spread across sports media platforms, featured Curry at his most entertaining. With a mix of crossovers and hesitation dribbles, he left DeChambeau stumbling before calmly draining a fadeaway three-pointer that drew loud cheers from those in attendance.

LeBron James, never one to miss a viral moment, joined the chorus of fans reacting to the performance.

The Los Angeles Lakers star couldn’t resist commenting under the post, writing, “Night Night!”-a nod to Curry‘s signature gesture that has become synonymous with closing out games and clutch moments.

Even in a friendly setting, Curry‘s competitive instincts were on full display. His timing and footwork appeared midseason ready, which isn’t surprising given his sharp form throughout the preseason.

In four tune-up games, the two-time MVP has averaged 17.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per contest while shooting nearly 43 percent from three-point range.

Curry finished with a preseason-high 28 points, knocking down four triples while adding six rebounds and five assists.

LeBron James rests as Curry sharpens up for regular season

While Curry continues to refine his rhythm before the regular season, James is taking a more cautious route.

The Lakers announced Thursday that their star forward will miss approximately three to four weeks due to right-side sciatica, a condition he’s been managing since the summer. The injury kept him out of training camp and will delay his regular-season debut, marking the first time in his 21-year career that he’s expected to sit out the start of a season.

The setback comes at a critical time for Los Angeles, which revamped its roster around James and Anthony Davis with hopes of returning to championship contention. Despite the early injury concerns, team officials have emphasized that the decision is precautionary, aimed at keeping James healthy for the long haul.

Meanwhile, Curry enters the new campaign determined to guide Golden State back into serious playoff contention. The Warriors have retooled their rotation around their longtime core of Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, betting that continuity and leadership can still compete in a deep Western Conference.
