Sophie Cunningham continues to show that she is an unfiltered athlete, as even off the court she presents herself just as she lives her days, with accumulated fatigue and unexpected situations that are part of her life.

While continuing her recovery from the knee injury that kept her out for much of the 2025 WNBA season, the player has shared glimpses of a routine marked by rehabilitation and personal moments.

A family oversight leaves Sophie alone

In one of her most recent videos, Sophie appeared wearing a cap and a comfortable sweatshirt, sitting and visibly tired, explaining that she was alone at the airport. With a tone between resigned and amused, she said her family had forgotten her there, while showing that the place was completely empty.

The moment quickly sparked reactions among her followers. On social media, many took it with humor and commented that they would never have left her there, while others suggested it might have been a joke.

A more relaxed side

The post adds to other recent moments where Cunningham has shown her more relaxed side, like the video in which she appears in her cowgirl look alongside her donkey Mark, sharing simple moments away from competitive demands.

Today, as an unrestricted free agent, Sophie Cunningham is going through this period without immediate certainties, but focused on her personal endeavors and with her eyes set on May, when the 2026 WNBA season is expected to begin.
