Simone Biles‘ love for husband Jonathan Owens is never hard to see and her end-of-year post on social media showed just how obsessed with the Chicago Bears player she is.
Biles has had a great year herself in the world of gymnastics given she won three gold medals for Team USA at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but Owens was front and centre as he featured in six of the 18 photos that Biles shared.
Her post was captioned: “Here’s to 2025” and she shared plenty of images that showed sweet moments with the NFL star, her time at the Olympics, the dogs that they own, family members, and nights out with friends.
The pair got married in April 2023 which means they have now done a full calendar year of marriage. Biles spoke to People.com in December about how important this particular holiday season is to the couple.
“Me and Jonathan were actually talking about it, and I’m like, ‘We’ll probably be in bed before the ball drops anyways,'” she continued. “And he said, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll get up. I’ll set an alarm for 12 so I could kiss you.'”
Travels on the horizon for Biles and Owens
Biles also talked about what they would like to get out of 2025 as it stands.
“Jonathan and I want to go on a couple of vacations; we’re planning those out right now.”
The gymnast was recently spotted at a Bears game supporting her husband. Biles took her gameday look to another level by rocking a custom hooded sweatshirt inspired by Owens. The sweatshirt was covered in photos of her husband, his last name and his jersey number, 36, in case anyone forgot who Biles was there to cheer on.
