Clayton Kershaw’s career with the Los Angeles Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Kershaw with the seventh overall pick in the 2006 MLB Draft, and he made his debut in 2008. He has been present in every season since then for the Dodgers.

Clayton Kershaw won the MVP (Most Valuable Player) award in 2014 in the National League, three Cy Young awards in four seasons from 2011 to 2014, five ERA titles, a pitching Triple Crown, a Gold Glove and a World Series title

He was also selected to 11 All-Star Games throughout his career. The left-hander has the lowest ERA of any pitcher in the live-ball era with at least 250 starts, posting a 2.54 average throughout his career.

He is also the active leader in winning percentage, shutouts and ERA+. Clayton Kershaw reached an important milestone in 2025, becoming the 20th pitcher to reach 3,000 strikeouts in MLB, as well as the third active pitcher to do so alongside Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer.
