Deion Sanders and his sons are carving out a lasting legacy in the NFL, turning the Sanders name into a symbol of talent, swagger, and generational impact. Deion himself enjoyed a Hall of Fame career, winning two Super Bowl titles. Now, his eldest son Shilo is continuing the family tradition with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while Shedeur, a promising young quarterback, was recently drafted by the Cleveland Browns.

Deion Sanders, widely known as Coach Prime, had the privilege of coaching both of his sons at Colorado, leading a team that marked a new era for the Buffaloes. While Shedeur earned his spot in the NFL Draft, Shilo went undrafted but found his opportunity by signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Coach Prime, father of five, often jokes about choosing a favorite among his children, especially between the two who followed his footsteps into the NFL. Many assumed Shilo, the older brother in the NFL, might hold that spot. But to his surprise, it wasn’t him

Shilo Sanders gets teased for not being Coach Prime’s favorite

Everything started when Coach Prime uploaded a post on Instagram, sharing a morning workout with his youngest daughter, Shelomi. In the post, he highlighted his improving health after running 1.3 miles alongside her. What caught fans’ attention, however, was a lighthearted moment when jokingly Shelomi called herself as the favorite child.

The post quickly drew a wave of impressions, filled with humorous comments and reactions from Deion Sanders’ fans. But one comment stood out from the rest, it came from former NFL cornerback Asante Samuel, a past rival of Coach Prime during their playing days, and it immediately grabbed attention.
