Shedeur Sanders sends a threat to every NFL team that passed him up and fires up Cleveland Browns fans

Shedeur Sanders was one of the standout stories during the NFL Draft, and that narrative hasn’t faded since he slipped to the fifth round, where he was selected by the Cleveland Browns. The former Colorado Buffaloes star is determined to transform the team’s culture, aiming for an epic turnaround, though he must first secure the role of starting quarterback.

Shedeur Sanders’ Message to Fans and the NFL

Since the NFL Combine in February, Sanders made it clear he wanted to reshape the vision of whichever team drafted him, turning it into a winner, just as he did at the collegiate level with Colorado Buffaloes and Jackson State.

With his arrival at the Browns, a franchise that has never reached a Super Bowl and is often recognized for its struggles and lack of success, it seems like the perfect stage for Sanders to fulfill what many see as a bold promise.

Shedeur Sanders isn’t fazed by the team’s winless (0-16) season in 2017, as he’s been warmly welcomed by the city of Cleveland, which is eager to elevate the franchise to the next level.

“It’s been extremely well, I would say,” Sanders told Cleveland Browns Daily about the fans who have embraced him wholeheartedly. “Really, I feel like the Browns fans, they just want something to hope for. They’ve been wanting that for so long. I’m here to change that, I’m here to actually give what they want.”

“I’m here to work and win,” Sanders added. “That’s what I want to be known for. The one that came and changed the franchise.”

Sanders knows he must stay grounded, as one of his primary goals is to earn the starting quarterback role before dreaming big, and he’s fully aware of that.

“Of course, establish myself first in the locker room, first around the building,” Sanders said. “Have everyone understand me. Just create great dialogue between everybody, just be a good teammate honestly.”
