People say all kinds of things about Shedeur Sanders-whether he has a big ego, whether his father has too much influence on him-many things are said about the former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback. But one thing is certain: he believes in himself, and that belief is helping him push through a very tough battle with the Cleveland Browns.
The blow was harsh for Shedeur Sanders at the end of April. During the Draft, everything was set for him to celebrate being picked in the first round. But the party quickly fell apart as the picks went by-hours, even days-and his name still hadn’t been called. Finally, on the third day, his name was announced in the fifth round when the Browns selected him.
The big problem? Shedeur Sanders joined a team that already had three quarterbacks ahead of him: veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, as well as fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, who had been drafted two rounds earlier.

As far as he can go, Shedeur Sanders will keep fighting for a chance with the Cleveland Browns. After being picked in the fifth round, he himself said he had a story like Tom Brady in mind-the QB who was drafted in the sixth round and became the greatest of all time.
What a situation Shedeur Sanders has taken on. But again, one thing he’s never lacked is confidence. And in Monday’s practice, he looked spectacular, throwing two touchdown passes. One of them went to Salvatore “Sal” Cannella.
The next touchdown pass was to fellow rookie Gage Larvadain. So, it was a great first day with pads for Shedeur Sanders with the Browns.
In the end, Shedeur finished with two touchdown passes and completed 9 out of 9 throws-better numbers than both Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel. As for Kenny Pickett, he was absent due to the injury he suffered on Sunday. Practices are getting more and more intense with the Browns.
