Shedeur Sanders issued a strong warning to Kevin Stefanski near the end of the game between the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans

Despite the Browns’ loss to the Tennessee Titans, there is no doubt that Shedeur Sanders’ performance was special and historic for the franchise. The final score was 31-29 in favor of the Titans; however, the Browns were one conversion away from sending the game to overtime after a terrible call by Kevin Stefanski, which ultimately cost them the chance.

Even so, Stefanski’s mistake doesn’t overshadow the incredible afternoon Shedeur Sanders had in a snowy game. Sanders threw for over 300 yards, tossed 3 touchdown passes, and added another score on the ground. This became the best performance by a Cleveland Browns quarterback since 1950. Nearly 75 years had passed since the team had seen a game like this from a QB.

The major issue was that they couldn’t stop Tony Pollard, the Tennessee Titans’ running back, who scored twice and racked up 161 rushing yards. Another key moment was Sanders’ interception in the third quarter, which helped the Titans secure their second win of the season.

Shedeur Sanders showed great poise at the end of the game

There’s no doubt that all eyes are on Shedeur Sanders, and that’s nothing new for him. He is the son of one of the most influential figures in NFL history, Deion Sanders, who was in Cleveland for the first time to watch his son play and nearly saw him earn a win in his second home start. His first start came on the road against the Raiders, where Deion also attended.

Shedeur Sanders has always faced criticism, but at the end of the game-despite being down-he stayed calm and nearly tied it. This was highlighted on The Dawgs – A Cleveland Browns Podcast: “We were down two scores with four minutes to go. And the dude’s calm, he’s not frazzled. He leads two touchdown drives in four minutes to give us a chance to win. Should’ve gone to overtime.”

So far, Shedeur Sanders has proven to Kevin Stefanski that he was wrong to start Dillon Gabriel over him. It’s worth remembering that during the preseason, Stefanski consistently favored and gave opportunities to Gabriel while Sanders was largely overlooked. His chance didn’t come until Gabriel suffered a concussion in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Before the last Draft, Shedeur Sanders was projected as a first-round pick; however, he fell all the way to the fifth round, where the Browns selected him. Five quarterbacks were taken before him, and after three starts, he’s shown he has real talent-and that letting him drop that low was a mistake.
