Shedeur Sanders is entering the NFL, and Josh Allen is about to rob the new receiver of the Cleveland Browns

In the days leading up to the NFL draft, it was speculated that the Buffalo Bills would add new receivers, at least one in the first round. However, the team’s management decided to strengthen its defense instead. The first five selections made by the Bills were all aimed at improving the defensive depth.

In the first round, the team selected Maxwell Hairston, a fast and explosive cornerback from Kentucky, who was chosen by the Buffalo Bills in the 2025 draft. He stands out for his ability to create turnovers, leading the SEC in interceptions in 2023.

It wasn’t until the seventh round that the Bills finally selected a receiver for Josh Allen. That player was Kaden Prather, who played at West Virginia and Maryland between 2021 and 2024. He ended his career with 162 receptions, 1,966 yards, and 12 touchdowns. He especially stood out at Maryland, where he amassed over 1,200 yards and 9 touchdowns in two seasons.

Now the Bills are considering the arrival of Elijah Moore

The Bills are still looking to strengthen their receiving unit and continue giving Josh Allen the weapons to chase the first Super Bowl in the franchise’s history. For now, Jordan Schultz from Fox Sports revealed that the team will be bringing in receiver Elijah Moore, who is currently a free agent.

Moore spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, setting a career high with 61 receptions last year. He was selected in the second round of the 2021 draft by the New York Jets. Currently, the receiver has 200 receptions for 2,162 yards and nine touchdowns in his NFL career.

Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Curtis Samuel, Jalen Virgil, KJ Hamler, Tyrell Shavers, Laviska Shenault, and Kaden Prather are currently the receivers for the Buffalo Bills.

The reality is that right now, Josh Allen doesn’t have a single top-tier receiver. A year ago, he lost Stefon Diggs, and midway through the previous season, Amari Cooper arrived. However, it’s not ruled out that the Bills will continue to make moves to give Allen a quality player and face the upcoming season.
