Shedeur Sanders made an impressive NFL preseason debut against the Carolina Panthers. The Cleveland Browns rookie finished the game with 157 total yards and two touchdowns.

In the Browns’ crowded QB room, Sanders got the chance to start after Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel were nursing hamstring injuries, Joe Flacco sat out, and Deshaun Watson was ruled out for the season.

Tyler Huntley, who was signed on Tuesday, backed up Sanders and finished with 51 total yards and one touchdown.

During the game, a shot showed Watson and Gabriel watching anxiously as Sanders delivered an impressive performance at Bank of America Stadium.

In typical Shedeur Sanders fashion, the rookie downplayed his debut and gave it a C+ grade.

“I feel like today I did some good, some bad. And I know moving forward I won’t make the same mistakes twice,” Sanders said after the game.
