American fighter Sebastian Fundora will defend his WBC and WBO world championship belts this weekend in Las Vegas, at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Fundora will fight Chordale Booker this Saturday, March 22, after the super welterweight champion has established himself as one of the great talents in the division.

In addition, he will make his first defense of both titles, after defeating Russian-Australian Tim Tszyu, unifying the belts of the two organizations in the 154 pounds.

If he continues on his good path, Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) could find himself on the road to two other great champions and seek the absolute title of the category: Terence Crawford (WBA) and Bakhram Murtazaliev (IBF).

However, he will first have to show his qualities against Booker (20-1, 9 KOs), who is ranked fifth by the WBO, making him a dangerous opponent as he has nothing to lose in this weekend’s fight.
