In a heartwarming display of co-parenting, NBA legend Scottie Pippen and his ex-wife, reality TV star Larsa Pippen, have publicly united to celebrate a significant milestone achieved by their son, Scotty Pippen Jr.

This rare moment of familial harmony highlights the enduring bond between the former couple, especially in support of their children’s endeavors.

Scotty Pippen Jr., currently playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, recently made history by becoming the first father-son duo in NBA history to record a triple-double.

Filling in for the injured Ja Morant, Scotty Jr. delivered an impressive performance with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, leading the Grizzlies to a 128-104 victory over the Washington Wizards.

Following this achievement, both Scottie and Larsa Pippen took to social media to express their pride. Larsa shared a screenshot of the record, tagging her ex-husband in the post.

Scottie echoed her sentiments by reposting the content, adding three fire emojis to convey his excitement. This synchronized response underscores their shared pride in their son’s accomplishments.

Despite their publicized divorce in 2021, Scottie and Larsa have maintained a cooperative co-parenting relationship. Their mutual support for Scotty Jr.‘s career is evident, with both parents actively attending games and celebrating his successes.

A future in basketball

Larsa has been particularly vocal about her son’s growth, noting that he has always had a basketball in hand since childhood.

As Scotty Pippen Jr. continues to carve out his path in the NBA, the support from his parents remains a cornerstone of his journey.

Their ability to put aside past differences for the sake of their children’s well-being and success is commendable and sets a positive example for blended families navigating similar circumstances.

The recent events serve as a testament to the power of unity and shared purpose. Scottie and Larsa Pippen‘s joint celebration of their son’s historic achievement not only highlights his individual success but also reflects the strength of family bonds, regardless of past challenges.
